Past Work and Funding

Between 2018 and 2019, MnDOT completed the Glencoe Transportation Study to study the current and future transportation system’s needs for the Glencoe area, develop a set of recommendations and review the local road network.

STUDY’S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS ON HIGHWAY 212

  1. Construct a single lane roundabout at Morningside Avenue
  2. Construct a partial J-turn at Highway 212 and Chandler Avenue (complete in 2022)
Federal dollars have been secured to construct the Highway 212 roundabout project
